Maasuu-aht Adventures offers Indigenous cultural tours in Ucluelet Harbour, showcasing Nuu-chah-nulth way of life and sharing traditional stories. During the tour we may encounter c̓ixʷatin (Eagles), tuukuuk (sea lions) and čims (black bears). The tours are family-friendly, allowing people of all ages to explore the beautiful landscapes and coastline of Ucluelet First Nations territory.
Maasuu-aht adventures is honoured and humbled to live and work on the territory of the yuułuʔiłʔatḥ First Nations. Roughly translated yuułuʔiłʔatḥ - are the people of the safe harbour. in 2011 yuułuʔiłʔatḥ signed the Maa-nulth treaty and are now a self governing modern day treaty nation. yuułuʔiłʔatḥ territory covers a wide area of land and water including the main community of Hitacu, č̓umaat̓a (Mt. Ozzard), beaches north of Ucluelet including kʷisitis (Wickaninnish) as well as the surrounding areas.
